Did you know there’s a trade show for the trade show industry? We sent our CEO, Mari Schultz, to EXHIBITORLIVE 2025 in San Antonio to check out the latest trends in the exhibiting and experiential marketing world. Here’s our top 4 ExhibitorLive 2025 trends:
Lighting
The floor was literally glowing with a wide range of eye-catching lights!
For example, many exhibits featured light boxes with striking, bright backlit graphics.
And, RGBW LED light strips were used throughout the hall to edge-light exhibit walls, floors, tables, 3D logos, and more.
In smaller exhibits, overhead LED arm lights continue to be a popular way to illuminate graphics and logos. And, in larger exhibits, arm lights, track lights, and ceiling spot lights were used to do the same.
Digital Interactive Experiences
Many of the top trade show technology companies exhibited to show off their latest products using digital interactive experiences.
Firstly, there were LED tiles everywhere. LED tiles are more affordable and easier to integrate than ever before, so LED walls were very popular. The tiles now come in a wider range of shapes and sizes, so they were also used to create hanging circles and spheres, round table bases, arches, and 3D immersive experiences.
Secondly, there were a lot of touchscreen kiosks, touchscreen tables, and digital posters present. These provided exhibitors with a unique way to engage attendees, highlight their full breadth of products and services, capture leads, and gather valuable data.
Booth Themes
Some of the most memorable exhibits went all-out on themes. From a concession stand to a casino, and a forest to an apothecary, exhibitors went to great lengths to create unforgettable experiences that engaged and delighted attendees!
A word of caution about booth themes: While a great theme can help exhibitors stand out, your brand must not get lost in it! A trade show exhibit must always clearly communicate who you are, what you do, and what sets you apart.
Personal Engagements
There is truly no substitute for face-to-face, in-person interactions.
For example, exhibitors used unique personal engagements to strike up conversations with attendees, make them feel welcome, and encourage dialog.
While making bracelets, creating personalized luggage tags, and mixing their own essential oils, exhibitors provided attendees with a positive, memorable brand experience, and a giveaway they will actually take home with them!
