Project Overview

When Speedrack Products Group Ltd. reached out to OnePoint Exhibits in June 2025, they were preparing for an important return to the trade show floor. After many years away from exhibiting, the team was ready to reintroduce its brand at MODEX 2026 with a display that felt modern, confident, and unmistakably Speedrack.

Founded in the 1950s, Speedrack has built a strong reputation in pallet racking, warehouse storage systems, automation, and material handling solutions. Their work supports efficient storage and movement for industries ranging from manufacturing and distribution to e-commerce, automotive, medical, cold storage, and third-party logistics.

For this show, Speedrack needed more than a booth. They needed a comprehensive exhibit solution that would help them stand out, support meaningful conversations, and show attendees that warehouse racking can be strong, engineered, and visually compelling. MODEX offered the right stage to increase brand awareness, connect with prospects, and make a lasting impression in a highly competitive material handling environment.

The Challenge

Speedrack came to OnePoint with a clear vision. They wanted a large island exhibit with a clean, modern, elevated look that reflected the strength of their products. The creative direction was described as “warehouse racking meets Mad Men,” with straight lines, rigid corners, and no soft or rounded design elements.

The exhibit also needed to do more than look good. Speedrack wanted to feature a working storage shuttle and use its own racking products to create a second-floor deck. This gave the booth a distinct architectural presence while turning the exhibit itself into a product demonstration.

With a long break from exhibiting behind them, Speedrack needed a partner who could help simplify the process from start to finish. That meant guiding the project through discovery, design, fabrication, show services, shipping, and installation & dismantle support.

The OnePoint Solution

OnePoint Exhibits began the project with a discovery meeting to understand Speedrack’s goals, products, brand, audience, and expectations for the show. From there, the team developed an exhibit concept that balanced bold visual impact with practical show-floor needs.

The final direction leaned into Speedrack’s industrial roots without making the space feel heavy or overly mechanical. The design used sharp structure, clean lines, and an elevated finish to create a display that felt polished, professional, and built for connection.

A key part of the solution was using Speedrack’s products as part of the exhibit architecture. The second-floor deck, built from Speedrack racking, became a memorable focal point and reinforced the durability behind the brand. The storage shuttle showcase added movement and engagement, giving attendees a more hands-on way to experience Speedrack’s capabilities.

Before the exhibit shipped, OnePoint staged the exhibit in its Grand Rapids warehouse. This mock-up allowed the team to confirm the structure, review all parts and pieces, and make sure the exhibit was ready to deliver the intended experience at MODEX.

Execution and Show Services

OnePoint also managed the show services needed to bring the exhibit to life, including electrical, hanging sign rigging, furniture, flooring, cleaning, A/V, installation and dismantle labor, and shipping. These details often happen behind the scenes, but they make a major difference in how smoothly a show comes together.

To provide additional support, OnePoint sent the project’s Exhibiting Consultant to MODEX. Having a dedicated team member on site helped coordinate labor, answer questions, troubleshoot in real time, and keep the installation moving toward a successful opening.

Overcoming Installation Challenges

Even with careful planning, trade shows can bring unexpected challenges. During installation, Speedrack’s freight was delayed and not in the booth space when the team arrived to begin the build. The delay cost nearly a full day of installation time and required quick coordination to keep the project moving.

The team also had to address show-provided carpet damage caused during setup. OnePoint stayed engaged through both issues, communicated with the right teams, adjusted as needed, and stayed focused on delivering a finished exhibit that reflected Speedrack’s expectations.

The Outcome

The completed exhibit helped Speedrack return to the trade show floor with confidence. The booth created a strong brand presence while supporting product education, attendee engagement, and in-person conversations.

After the show, OnePoint coordinated dismantle and return logistics. The exhibit was shipped back to the Grand Rapids warehouse, and inspected for damage or missing components. And, OnePoint reconciled all of their various show service costs onto one simple invoice.

Client Feedback

Speedrack’s feedback reflected the success of the project and the value of having a trusted trade show partner. The client shared, “I was incredibly happy with the services, and with how our booth turned out. Our Exhibiting Consultant, Anna, did a phenomenal job!”

For Speedrack, MODEX 2026 was more than a return to exhibiting. It was a chance to reconnect with the industry and showcase its products in a memorable way. It was also a way to step back onto the show floor with a display built to support both its brand and its goals. For OnePoint, the project was another example of how the right team can simplify the process, manage the details, and help create a better way to display. Contact us today to learn more about how we can do the same for you!
